    Unlike many high schools in the area, St. Mary's makes their 1818 courses available to every student who qualifies, even if it means adding an extra session or class. The school also offers online college credit courses through Meramec Community College making the total hours of credit offered 55. Read more

  • National Honor Society

    The National Honor Society of St. Mary’s High School is named the Chaminade Chapter. St. Mary’s takes pride in that great heritage and in the young men who are selected to be members of the Chaminade Chapter of the National Honor Society (NHS). The purpose of the NHS is to be of service to the school. Its membership serves individually in many fields; and the entire membership is called upon for service from time to time. Read more

  • Mu Alpha Theta

    Mu Alpha Theta is a national high school and two-year college mathematics honor society that was formed in 1957. The purpose of this organization is to stimulate interest in mathematics by providing public recognition of superior mathematical scholarship and by promoting various mathematical activities that foster the enjoyment of mathematics.     St. Mary’s High School is a member of Beta Chi Pi - Science Teachers of Missouri (STOM) science honor society. Read more

  • Professional Learning Teams

    Since 2006, the St. Mary’s Faculty has been collaborating in professional learning teams to improve instruction and student performance. These teams of faculty members follow a specific protocol that begins with a professional reading, then examining peer lesson/unit plans and ending with receiving or giving specific feedback that moves a good lesson/unit to a great one.
