Music, in all of its forms, is an integral part of life and must be an integral part of the educational process. In determining the needed experiences that most effectively meet the needs of St. Mary's students, basic areas must be considered. These areas include: the intellectual, the emotional, the social, the aesthetic, the cultural and the spiritual factors of students. It is St. Mary's hope to promote the following areas as well as those listed above: individual and group expression, personal enrichment, personality development and extra work for the musically gifted student.
