Faculty and Staff
St. Mary’s faculty adheres to a strong philosophy of hands-on study utilizing the current research on the male adolescent brain. Their focus for the last several years has been translating and incorporating a differentiated approach to instruction to reach and teach every student. In addition, St. Mary’s non-faculty staff members work together to keep the school’s departments, functions and services running smoothly. From the leadership team, guidance, advancement, campus ministry and other school personnel; St. Mary’s relies on the diverse talents of its dedicated employees.
Five St. Mary's faculty members were honored for their work in the classroom in the 2010-2011 school year alone. Congratulations to the following faculty members:
- Associate Principal, Jane Goff received the Peabody-Logos Leaders in Education Award

Testimonials
“The true charm of Saint Mary's approach to helping their students succeed is the nature of the relationships built along the way. Not only do students develop long-lasting friendships with fellow students, the faculty take a personal stake in developing the student into an adult, using activities of that student's interests to cultivate their progress along the way.”
-Andy Hannigan, Class of 2002
“I have enjoyed teaching at St. Mary’s since 1968. The family spirit embraces all that enter its doors. It’s been a place to call a second home and provided my son with a wonderful education that has served him well. I couldn’t be more proud than to be a teacher at St. Mary’s High School.” -Mr. Frank Sohm, Math Teacher
