High School Nights:

St. Mary’s High School will participate in the following High School Nights. Three 20 minute presentations will address the school’s Marianist mission, curriculum, academic requirements, extra-curricular activities, athletics and other exciting St. Mary's High School news. St. Mary’s students and staff will be available for questions.

2012 Dates will be scheduled late Summer

Open House:

Sunday, November 4th, 2012
12:00p.m.-4:00p.m.

St. Mary’s realizes families may have other obligations on Sunday, including visiting one or more other schools. For that reason, St. Mary’s offers tour options to all of our visitors, hopeful the school can meet their needs and accommodate their schedule. Once visitors enter St. Mary’s campus, student ambassadors will guide them to the main entrance where they will be greeted by our Admissions Director and Director of Advancement. Families then have the option to choose a formal tour or a shortened tour. Tours start every 10-15 minutes.

Formal Tour:
For families with about 60 minutes who would like a comprehensive look at St. Mary’s campus. The tour will include all 3 floors of the main building including science, art, computer and broadcasting rooms, Theater, Chapel, Southside Campus, Gym, Athletic Fields and Cafeteria. This tour will be led by one faculty member and one student ambassador.

Shortened Tour:
For families with about 30 minutes who would like to see the main areas of St. Mary’s campus. This tour will be led by one faculty member and one student ambassador. The tour will include the first floor of the main building, Gym, Athletic Fields and Cafeteria.

If a family has very limited time and would only like to look at one or two specific areas of the campus, they just need to ask and a student ambassador will accompany them to those specific parts of campus.

Light refreshments are served in the cafeteria where the Leadership Team is available to answer questions. The St. Mary's High School community hopes to see you there. If you have any questions regarding Open House festivities, please contact the Admissions Director at 314-481-8400 x110 or at admissions@stmaryshs.com.

Why St. Mary's?

“My experiences at St. Mary’s have been incomparable. No other school has a closer community than here. Everyone knows everyone’s name. Even the teachers know every student and how each one of us learns. It is this close attention and family atmosphere that have helped me to achieve all that I have during my four years here. I can look back at each step in the National Merit process and recall how Mrs. Klimpel proofread an essay or Dr. Muentnich helped me pick a college major. Everyone here is connected, and I am confident these connections will last throughout college and the rest of my life. The opportunities at St. Mary’s are immeasurable.”  -Tony Puricelli, National Merit Finalist and Valedictorian of the Class of 2010

"...this place is like no other. My son is flourishing and is so happy here. What happens here is so simple, yet so profound. My son is standing tall and growing into a young man. The care and understanding he has received here is remarkable.  I could not be any happier."  -Dana Kramer, Parent of Alex, Class of 2014
