Personal Information:

Mr. McNiff earned his B.M.E.(Bachelor of Music Education) from St. Benedicts College and his M.A.Ed.(Master of Arts in Education) with Music Emphasis from Washington University. He joined St. Mary's High School in 1969 immediately after receiving his degree. Mr. McNiff started the Marching Band in 1985 and the group has been marching in community, parish and city functions ever since. Besides being the Band Director, Mr. McNiff is in charge of the work/study program after school where students work to help with their tuition expense. Mr. McNiff is also in charge of the custodial crew that cleans the entire school over the summer. He enjoys all kinds of music, old movies and bowling.

Why St. Mary’s?

St. Mary’s was my first ever professional teaching job right out of college. The faculty and staff were so family oriented that I felt right at home. That feeling still exists today.
