Welcome to the 2011-2012 School Year!
WHAT? St. Mary's Parent Association (SMPA) is a support group for the students, faculty and staff of St. Mary's High School. These parent volunteers promote social and extracurricular activities, which will lead to successful and positive high school experiences for your sons. SMPA strongly encourages all parents to become volunteers and welcomes all the help they can get. Besides, it is FUN!
WHO? As a St. Mary's parent, you are automatically members of the SMPA. The annual $50.00 family fee you pay defrays the cost for some of the activities listed below. Our meetings are also attended by St. Mary's High School Leadership Team-Fr. Mitch Doyen, Mr. Kevin Hacker and Mrs. Jane Goff.
WHEN? The Parent’s Association meets on the second Thursday of every month at 7:00 pm in the cafeteria. If for some reason a meeting has to be rescheduled it will be posted on the St. Mary’s website. Come and support your sons through the Parent’s Association.
WHY?
1. It is fun and you will gain an understanding of the Marianist Charism.
2. It builds community (parents, teachers and staff unite).
3. In case your son doesn’t tell you “everything”, these meetings will!
So come and enjoy the SMPA!
Sincerely,
St. Mary's Parent Association Officers 2011-12

Parent Testimonial
"I have put both of my sons through St. Mary's. What I have discovered is that St. Mary's is an academically strong college prep high school. More importantly, St. Mary's educators and staff reach out to each young man to customize an educational program that is right for him. When you add in the Marianist values, the service projects and the extracurricular activities you end up with a very well rounded young man who is prepared to meet his next challenge in life."
-Bob Lilly, Parent of Rob '09 and Ryan '11
