March for Life 2017
St. Mary's High School students and faculty made its first trip to Washington, D.C. for the March for Life Rally in 1989. That first year only four students went to Washington. Since then more than 250 students and faculty have made the pilgrimage along with a banner that symbolizes the Pro-Life movement at St. Mary’s High School. After each of the trips up Capitol Hill, those who marched with St. Mary’s are given the opportunity to sign this banner. This banner has gone by plane, by van, by bus, and by car to Washington D.C. This banner has been 100 feet below Washington, D.C. in the Metro (subway). It has been hundreds of feet above Washington, D.C. atop the Washington Monument. This banner represents our school and our prayers for the annual March for Life.
