PART-TIME GROUNDSKEEPER

St. Mary’s South Side Catholic High School is seeking a dependable and motivated Part-Time Groundskeeper to help maintain the appearance, safety, and upkeep of our campus. This position will work morning hours, Monday through Friday, and will play an important role in ensuring our school grounds remain clean, welcoming, and prepared for students, families, and visitors.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain the overall appearance of school grounds and outdoor spaces
  • Mow grass, trim edges, and assist with landscaping upkeep
  • Remove litter and debris from campus grounds and walkways
  • Assist with seasonal outdoor maintenance and general grounds work
  • Support campus cleanliness and safety efforts
  • Assist with event setup and teardown, including tables, chairs, signage, and other event needs as needed
  • Perform other duties assigned by administration or facilities staff

Qualifications:

  • Ability to work independently and manage responsibilities efficiently
  • Reliable with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to lift, move, and carry equipment/materials as needed
  • Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions
  • Previous groundskeeping or maintenance experience preferred, but not required

Schedule:
Part-Time | Monday–Friday | Morning Hours
